On Monday 30^th September, 13 children from St Cenydd School in Caerphilly took part in a Puppet Making and Theatre workshop with Follow Your Dreams. The children that took part were asked to design and make a rod puppet based on what their dream is for their future. We had some wonderful dreams from this group – a massive variety – ranging from being a professional boxer to training dogs for the blind and owning their own theme park!

With help from Helyn Latimer from Puppet Theatre Wales, all 13 children made beautiful puppets of themselves in their dream role and acted them out in a mini puppet theatre where they were interviewed as their dream character as if they were appearing on a TV chat show.

All involved were so impressed at how well the class made and acted out their puppets and we would like to thank the pupils and staff at St Cenydd, along with Puppet Theatre Wales for making this workshop a huge success.
