Aberavon Wizards RFCAberavon RFC are extremely proud to reveal our charity partnership with Follow Your Dreams for the 2015-16 season. Aberavon RFC we will be putting on a number of events throughout the season during our Fosters Challenge Cup games to fundraise for the charity, including the much-anticipated return of Stars in their Eyes. We will also be wearing a new charity kit, which will help to raise the profile of our charity partnership. In addition to this, we will be selling t-shirts at each of our Challenge Cup games in order to raise money for Follow Your Dreams. Operations Director John Hope said, “working with Aberavon will help us to get the name of Follow Your Dreams out there. The way that the players and the club have responded in terms of supporting us is fantastic; the events they’re putting on will generate income for the charity, which we guarantee, will go directly to children’s dreams. We believe that this can be a long term relationship.” Chairman Andrew John said, “As a community club and a family based club, Aberavon are delighted to be able to support the charity. We’re a big part of the community here in Port Talbot, and it’s lovely to be able to support a charity that focuses on children and following their dreams.” Club Captain Ian Moore spoke on behalf of the players when he said “As a team, when we put the shirts on for the first time I think we’ll feel honoured and proud. I think it’s a great charity that we’re supporting this year, I think it’s great what the club is doing it.” To find out more about the club, their games and charitable activities, check out their website www.aberavonwizards.co.uk
