Everyone at Follow Your Dreams would like to extend a huge thank you to Nathaniel Cars in Bridgend for holding a fantastic fundraiser for us on Wednesday 27th November.  Having links to Welsh Rugby, Nathaniel Cars were able to get two Welsh International stars, Mike Phillips and Richard Hibbert to take part in a question and answer evening at their show rooms.  After a few complimentary refreshments, and the chance to get photos and signatures with their heroes, guests were invited to ask anything they liked to either or both players, and were given a real insight into professional rugby from the perspective of current players.  The evening came to a close with a raffle of some amazing rugby memorabilia, including signed Wales and Lions kits and boots.  The event was a great success and raised an absolutely fantastic total of £1,761.00 for our charity!

A few days after the event, we sent along Hollie, our new Young Ambassador for Bridgend on her first assignment for Follow Your Dreams – to collect the wonderful giant cheque!  You will see her pictured above – and what a lovely photo too!  Well done, Hollie!  She’s a pro already!  The money that Nathaniel Cars have raised for us will go such a long way towards supporting children like Hollie in Bridgend and the surrounding areas to achieve their dreams and once again we thank them very much and hope we can work with them again soon.
