This week, fifteen pupils from Erwr Delyn School in Penarth, South Wales completed a three-week long programme in Puppet-making and Theatre.

In this programme, pupils were asked to design, make and perform with a puppet that was based on their dreams, goals and ambitions for the future.  We had an amazing variety of dreams from this group, some wanted to become a fashion designer or a famous painter or a chef at a five star restaurant!

Once each pupil had created a puppet based on their dream, it was time to bring them to life!  The puppet performance took the form of a live TV chat show, where pupils were encouraged to act with their puppet as if they had achieved their dream and were appearing on the TV show to talk about it.

All pupils that took part designed and made fantastic puppets and put amazing humour and theatrical flair  into their performances.  We would like to say a big thank you to the pupils and staff at Ysgol Erw'r Delyn for making the workshop and also our experience so enjoyable!
